Don’t be thrown by the dual covers! We’re not trying to trick you! YEN PLUS is unique in that you can read it from both sides. When you begin from the right and read left, you get the best in Japanese manga from Square Enix. If you begin from the left and read right, you can enjoy new manhwa from Korea as well as original English-language content.

How long should I expect to wait between when I subscribe and when I get my first magazine in the mail?
It takes about 4 to 6 weeks to process your subscription. So if you order your magazine in the first half of the month, about two issues will go by before you get your subscription in the mail. If you wait till the end of the month, it may be another issue before your subscription starts. If you want to make sure, call the subscription hotline at 1-800-876-7598 to ask about your specific account.
What time of the month should I expect YEN PLUS to arrive at my house?
The magazines are sent out the first week of the preceding month, so you should have your next issue by the second week of the month. Bookstores tend to put magazines out early, so don’t be alarmed if you see YEN PLUS on the shelf before your see it at your door. Again, if you have concerns, please call 1-800-876-7598 to ask about your account in particular.

Where can I buy YEN PLUS?
YEN PLUS is available at bookstores nationwide, including Borders and Barnes and Noble, as well as other major retailers such as WalMart. Depending on your area, you may be able to find it at the local bookstore or grocery chain, newsstand, or comic book shop.
Can I order past issues of YEN PLUS?
Unfortunately, we can’t directly sell back issues of YEN PLUS at this time. However, if you visit your local comic shop, they should be able to special order back issues for you.

Bookstores tend to put out the new magazines earlier than everyone else, so it may be a week or so before the magazine comes to your local store. Don’t panic!

If you are a professional artist and would like to submit a story for YEN PLUS, refer to the submission guide in the magazine or the CONTACTS tab on the website and send your material to yenplus@hbgusa.com.
If you are not a professional but are interested in submitting a story, we will be conducting a new talent search contest in the coming months!

We love hearing from you so much that we will gladly accept a photocopy of the form (and are touched that you don’t want to cut up your magazine!). Unfotunately, for sweepstakes entries we do need the clipping from the original page. Sorry! Blame the cheaters!

Why don’t you put in the original color pages for the series?
Due the mechanics of putting the magazine together, we can’t always include the original color pages from the series. However, all color pages from the original volumes will be included in the collected books, so you should check them out there in all their 4-color glory!
How long will each series run in the magazine?
The length of time/number of volumes each series will run in the magazine varies from title to title. However, just because a series may stop running in the magazine, we will still continue publishing it in book form. Just click over to the BOOKS tab and check it out!
How many volumes is each series? When will they be released?
If you click over to the BOOKS tab on our site, you can find the release dates for all the volumes we currently have scheduled. Most of the series in the magazine are still being serialized in Japan or Korea, and the volumes on the site are only what we’ve scheduled so far. Suffice to say, there’s much more of your favorite series still to come!
