@seny The Betrayal volumes will indeed be the same size as the earlier volumes. (We’re caught up to the Japanese editions, that’s why the switch~)

I totally agree! Because of the large size from Yen Press I decided to not buy the german release (which is really tiny, just like the japanese manga…) and went with the english one. I’m so glad, that the americans choose to make every regarding manga larger than life
and don’t stick with the small formats, that the japanese have.

Uhm, on the Betrayal series page, volume 6 is written as volume 5.
I’m really glad that you’ll keep the same trim.
I hope Hotaru Odagiri gets better soon and restarts Betrayal.
On the other note, I can’t wait to see Are You Alice? covers. But considering the Japan covers, I guess there’re some hellish redraws.
How I hope I could help you YP with the cover and color pages redraws, but unfortunately I’m not a U.S. citizen.
Also, when will we know the release date for the 3rd – final volume of Drrr! Saika Arc? Will it be scheduled with the same 1 month break that is between volume 1 and 2?

@non8 Thanks, we’ll make the fix!
As for Are You Alice?, often we are able get the actual art files from Japan with the text and design layers separate from the art, so we don’t have to do much retouching/redrawing of the art. Some covers do if the Japanese logo is a part of the art, so we do have expert cleaners who take care of that for us
We are only able to license titles once they are released in Japan. Since Saika 3 just came out, we will hopefully have a release date for you soon. It will not be a one-month interval, but we will absolutely put it out as soon as we are able, probably late this year.

There’s a mistake in Kieli. The last volume is volume 9 I think, not volume 7.
Sad thing to see Kieli ending.

@Okazaki Thanks for the catch! It is sad to see Kieli go, but hopefully you’ll be just as excited about some of the new series we have on the horizon!

Oh my god! Am I seeing right? GOONG, Vol. 13 by SoHee Park is coming out in september 2013! And the rest of them will follow? Oh god, I could really cry! Finally! Thanks Yen Press! I had faith that you guys don’t drop series like other publishers do and I’m sooooooooo glad, that I was right.
